Howey-In-The-Hills, Fl. - Lisa went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Orlando on November 2, 1966 as daughter of Leo and Viola Shafer Green and was a lifelong area resident. She attended Ferndale Church of God where she was an Adult Sunday School Teacher and Youth Director.
A loving wife and mother, she was daddy’s little “Rosebud” and God’s little angel. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Surviving is her husband of 22 years, Charles Mack, son Mitchell, and |
| mother-in-law Edna Mack who all are presently residing in Howey-In-The-Hills. Also surviving are her parents Viola and Leo Green of Clermont, Fl. Other survivors are brothers Leo Paul Green, Jr. of Cottonwood, Al. and Mark Green of Clermont, Fl. More survivors are sisters Leona Christopherson of Mascotte, Fl., Linda Partain of Tampa, Fl., Sharon Neese of Loganville, Ga., and numerous nieces and nephews. There is a quote that hangs above her sister’s (Sharon Neese) desk. It reads: “Sister … When God Chose You for My Sister, I wonder if He knew How Much I’d Come to Treasure The Friend I’ve Found in You.” Cultivating friendships with your own siblings provides a deep insight into Lisa’s soul. She was easy to talk to and she made many friends. Rest in Peace … We love you! |
