Louis Adams - Our Beloved Cousin
Durham, N.C. - Parkwood Firefighter/EMT Louis Adams, age 46, died Monday, December 15th at Duke Medical Center. On Monday afternoon, life support for Driver-Operator/EMT-Intermediate Adams was withdrawn. Louis was a patient listed as critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit at Duke University Medical Center after a cardiac event that occurred one week prior. At approximately 12:30 hours on Monday, December 8th, Louis suffered a cardiac arrest while exercising at a fitness center near his home in Burlington. Howey-In-The-Hills, Fl. - Lisa went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Orlando on November 2, 1966 as daughter of Leo and Viola Shafer Green and was a lifelong area resident. She attended Ferndale Church of God where she was an Adult Sunday School Teacher and Youth Director. A loving wife and mother, she was daddy's little "Rosebud" and God's little angel. Atlanta, Ga. - We celebrate the life of Betty Jean Dowell Neese or “Betty Boop.” That’s a nickname Joe, Dad, and Randy gave her. She accepted it graciously. Like the cartoon character she was always bubbly and energetic. She even looked a lot like “Betty Boop”! She proudly displayed the “Betty Boop” figurines that we bought her even though they conflicted with her exquisite taste. Our mom like many know loved to smile and enjoy life and new experiences.
