Projector Lifts - Automated

A Scissor Lift not only conceals your projector above the ceiling and set it exactly where you need it at presentation time, but it can be brought down to within easy reach for service. This projector lift offers three positions: store, show and service. Scissors on the left, right and back sides of the unit stabilize the projector from any sway both laterally and front-to-back. Projectors can be bolted directly to the lift’s bottom pan, or mounted with the optional low profile mount.

The Micro Projector Lift is small and convenient, just like the projectors it is designed to accommodate. Weighing only 35 pounds, it can be installed in an existing 2′ x 2′ ceiling opening without disturbing the ceiling framework. The projector’s “show” position can be set at any point with infinite adjustability, up to 48” extension. The Micro Projector Lift utilizes the same exclusive 3-scissor design as Draper’s popular Scissor Lift but features a compact side-folding scissor. The load is lifted by two 1” wide Kevlar® straps. Safety belt provides extra protection. Closed height of lifting unit is only 5” tall (not including projector, mounting mechanism or closure), so a minimal amount of overhead ceiling space is required.

Bomb bay style closure doors allow the most popular LCD/DLP/LCOS projectors to fit comfortably inside this ceiling recessed unit. Environmental Airspace housing is aluminum, with closure doors finished in white. This lift contains an internal switched duplex receptacle, 115V AC, which is powered when the unit is fully down. The LCD Projector Lift contains an innovative current sensor that delays closing of the unit until the projector fan has shut off.

A “phantom” lift quickly and quietly reveals the projector by dropping it out of the ceiling, or lifts it from under a table and into the “show” position. Unit mounts above the ceiling, or under a table. A trapdoor lowers, or raises the projector into the room.

An “orbiter” lift can be installed in an angled ceiling, wall or table. Uniquely versatile, ingenious design fits in small cavities. Conceals projector and rotates it into “show” position. Environmental Airspace Housing: Aluminum enclosure for use in environmental air space. Includes intake and exhaust fan system with couplers for connection to ventilation ducts. Ceiling Access Door: 2′ x 2′ hinged door provides above-the-ceiling access for maintenance or repairs while preventing ceiling damage. Available in white finish or recessed to accept ceiling tile. DC Motor Control: Since Orbiter has a DC motor, this control unit is required for IR or RF remote control, or when interfacing with a master control system.
