Music Lovers Theater - Lake Oconee, GA

Tower speakers
The design of this theater began with a pair of ultra high end speakers the client had for years. Previously these speakers had been housed in a room dedicated to music listening. While working up plans for the new home the client decided that it was important to include the rest of the family into their hobby. The best way to accomplish this goal was to create a theater room the family could gather together in to enjoy movies and sporting events. Special care was taken in the layout to ensure these speakers would preform well inside the new room we helped the client create.

Floating floor
Well defined bass is one of the most import things to have in a custom designed theater. A floating floor was installed to make certain that every explosion and drum beat is felt by everyone in the room. This wooden floor (with carpet on top) is raised above the concrete slab of the home by rubber feet and isolated from the side walls, causing the floor to pulse with every low frequency sond creating a dramatic effect you can feel.
