Elan Automation - Oxford, Ga.
Project Type: Whole House Automation Gallery

Allen K. of Oxford, Ga. was referred to ETI by a client. He wanted his outdated system that was installed in 2000 to be upgraded to accommodate the newest technologies.
After a thorough inspection of his audio/video systems, we redesigned them to perform to his wishes and desires.
We removed all 3 DVD changers from his equipment rack in the basement and replaced them with an Escient digital media manager & (3) Sony 400-disc DVD changers. We reloaded all CDs and DVDs into the Sony changers.
We replaced the existing front doorbell unit with an Elan door station and to make it work with the new system we installed an Elan communications controller in the equipment rack.
We replaced the existing projector in the basement home theater with a new Pioneer Elite 1080p high definition projector and Chief projector ceiling mount.
We installed an Integra 3-zone 7.1 channel surround receiver and Sunfire amplifier in place of the Denon receiver that powers the basement home theater. We performed Audyssey Pro calibration on new Integra receiver.
ETI also programmed (2) Universal Remote MX3000i touch screen remotes for operation of all rooms.
We installed a Universal Remote MSC400i master system controller in the basement A/V rack and connected to a new Elan integrated multi-room A/V controller.
We installed Elan Via 7″ in-wall color touch panel/video monitors in the upstairs kitchen, basement kitchen, and basement bar.
We replaced the existing cable distribution amp with Elan 3×8 bi-directional RF distribution amplifier.
We added these components to complete the Whole House Audio system upgrade:
-
Elan Precision Panel
-
Elan System Station
-
Episode 12-Channel x 30-watt Amplifier
Finally, we installed (2) Episode grey rock speakers in the pool area to give an omni-directional sound field.
