The owner of this home theater wanted a place to hide from all off the stress of every day life. This theater was designed to have great sound in spite of the completely hidden speakers and electronics. The front left right and center speakers along with the subwoofers are all hidden behind a screen proscenium crafted with acoustically transpaerant drapes. The four rear speakers are also hidden behind similar fabric covered wall panels. The result is an enveloping surround sound experience that is heard but not seen.

In speaking with the home owner on this project we felt that a hard button remote would be the best way to control the system. With one button press on the remote control an on screen graffics system is displayed which provides an intuitive interface allowing different media sources to be choosen for the theater. Since this theater is integrated into a whole house video and audio system other rooms of the home can also be controlled from this remote if the client desires.
